Description

Pear Tree Cottage is one of a group of cottages dating to the 18th and 19th centuries and has undergone significant restoration. It is constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, and has a thatched roof with gabled ends. The cottage is two storeys high, featuring a two-window front. It has modern casement windows with glazing bars, and a modern central door with a hood over. Brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. An outshut is located at the rear, with a catslide roof. The cottage is listed for group value.
