Description
The Wheelwright Inn is a cottage that has been converted into a public house and restaurant. It dates from the 17th or 18th century and is constructed of white-washed stone rubble with a hipped thatched roof. The building has two storeys and features a five-window range, with the central window on the first floor being blind. The windows are two and three light casements with leaded panes. There is a central doorway that is sheltered by a rustic porch, also with a thatched roof. A brick ridge chimney stack is located near the west end of the building.
