Description
The Old Inn is a public house dating from the 16th or 17th century, with an 18th-century wing. It features roughcast and white-washed stone rubble, topped with a thatched roof that has hipped ends. The building is two storeys high and has a long range of four or five windows. On the first floor, there are two and three light casements with chamfered mullions and leaded panes. The ground floor includes one 20th-century casement, along with 20th-century glazed doors and a thatched porch at the angle with the 18th-century wing, which projects to the left. The gable facing the road has bowed sashes on each floor with glazing bars, and there is a plank door to the left. The building has rebuilt brick ridge stacks and a stack over the gable of the wing. Inside, there is one jointed cruck truss and stopped chamfered ceiling beams.
