Description
Moat Restaurant is a farmhouse that has been converted into a restaurant. It features a 16th-century framed structure with 18th-century elevations. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is hipped and covered with plain tiles, featuring one flat-headed dormer and 17th-century stacks located at the left end and off-centre to the right. The building has two storeys and an attic, with four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor, all fitted with 20th-century diamond lattice casements. There is a half-glazed panelled door with a 20th-century flat projecting hood positioned off-centre to the right. The building has a T-shaped plan and includes a weatherboarded wing at the rear.
