Description
Hognore Farm House is a farmhouse that features a much-altered 16th-century wing at the rear and an early 19th-century block to the south. The south block is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof and end stacks. It has two storeys and a regular three-window front with casement windows. The central entrance is a half-glazed door with bowed glazing and an overlight. The north wing, located on the west side, has random rubble on the left with an inserted brick stack, while the right side is made of red brick, which was raised at the top during the 19th century. This wing also has a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left, with a ridge stack to the right and an off-ridge stack at the front left. It has two storeys with irregular fenestration, featuring three windows on the first floor and four on the ground floor. There is a wooden verandah to the right at the side of the 19th-century block.
