Description
The Golding Tomb, located 15 yards south of Ditton Church, is a chest tomb dated 1789. It is made of stone and features a wide plinth supporting the tomb, which has panelled sides and reeded corners. Surrounding the tomb is a wrought-iron railing that is somewhat dilapidated, consisting of spear-head rails and vase-head standards. The tomb is inscribed to William Golding, who died in 1789.
