Description

The Golding Tomb, located 6 yards north of the east end of the north aisle of the Parish Church of St Mary, is a chest tomb dating from 1817. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features enriched pilasters with traces of paint, corner balusters, a fluted frieze, and a moulded cornice, along with square panels. This tomb is part of a notable collection of classical and local tomb forms and significantly enhances the setting of the church.
