Description
Brewers Hall Farmhouse is a late 16th-century hall house located on the west side of Maidstone Road in Mereworth. The east wing is timber-framed and rendered, featuring a continuous overhang that is masked by a moulded fascia and plaster cove. It has a tiled roof that is hipped to the north. The south gable has a first-floor jetty, original moulded barge-boards, and a pendant. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four windows, which include irregular sashes and casements. There is a 18th-century panelled door on the north side, complete with a fan-light and a projecting columned porch. An additional west wing made of brick was added in the early 19th century.
