House formerly a farmhouse. Mid C16 with C18 and C19 alterations. Timber-framed and plastered, part weather-boarded; plain tiled roofs, half hipped to south. Two storeys, L-plan with outshut to north. Main range with continuous jetty and rear wing extended in late C16 or early C17. Gault brick ridge stack and rear gable end stack. West elevation; boxed jetty, one early C18 window altered to left hand, and one early C19 hung sash window; two first floor eight-paned hung sash windows. Entrance in rear wing with C19 flush-panelled door and canted bay window; two iron framed early C18 casement windows with leaded lights. Interior: Exposed timber-frame and chamfered ceiling beams, with bar-stops in hall. Rear kitchen with large cooking hearth and C18 floor bricks; hall with open hearth and inglenook with two niches; sealed hearth with C19 chimney piece in west room.
