Description

Herne Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Butcher's Lane in Mereworth. It is constructed from coursed stone blocks featuring flint galletting, with red brick used for the quoins and window dressings. The roof is plain tiled and includes one dormer, along with a catslide at the rear. The cottage has two storeys and four windows, with 19th-century alterations. The central entrance features coupled doors beneath a flat hood.
