Description
Milestone, probably early 19th century. It is a square section stone post that is roughly rounded at the top and painted white. A repaired metal plate with a segmental arched head is attached to the front, which reads "LONDON 28 TUNBRIDGE 2." This milestone is one of a set of three surviving milestones located on the London Road in Hildenborough parish.
