Description

This is a forge, still in use, located adjoining Forge House on the right. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The building is one storey high and features a kneelered gable on the left side, which faces the road. There is a gabled dormer and a stack on the left side as well. At the rear end on the right, there is a projecting wooden roof above the cart entrance. The left side has a double sash window, while the right return has two wooden casement windows. Inside, there is a reported central open fireplace.
