Description

This is a pair of late 17th-century cottages situated on the south side of St Nicholas at Wade. The cottages are constructed of red brick, bonded with alternating stretcher courses and stretchers with headers, using bricks sourced locally from the Minster area of Thanet. The roof is covered in plain tiles and features a triple compass shaped gable, one raking dormer window, and stacks positioned at the end to the left, the centre to the left, and the end to the right. The left-hand side of the cottages has a boarded door with two small sidelights, while a horizontally sliding sash window sits to the right. At the right-hand end, there are two horizontally sliding sash windows, a boarded door, and a flat hood above. A wall tie marked "I L" is visible in the left-hand gable.
