Description

Forge House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of the road at St Nicholas at Wade the Length. The building is constructed of brown brick with a plain tiled roof. It is two storeys and an attic, with a gambrel roof featuring a brick dentil eaves cornice, kneelers on the gables, two flat-roofed dormers and stacks positioned at the left and right ends. The fenestration is regular, consisting of two moulded sash windows on each floor; the ground-floor windows are segmental-headed. A central half-glazed and panelled door is topped by a flat hood.
