Description
The Bell Inn is a public house that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It features a timber-framed and rendered exterior, with a red brick rear wing and a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a hipped roof, with stacks that project at both the left and right ends. The front facade has a regular arrangement of windows, including two glazing bar sashes with shutters on the first floor and two canted bay windows on the ground floor. The central entrance is a half-glazed door topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. On the left side, there is a late 17th-century red brick wing that includes a basket-arched doorway and an irregular arrangement of three wooden casements. Inside, the timber frame is visible.
