Description

This is a 17th-century barn located about 20 metres east of Streete House in St Nicholas at Wade. The barn is timber framed and is clad with red brick and weather boarding, topped with a corrugated asbestos roof. It features a half-hipped roof and a hipped mid-strey, with a raking mid-strey on the rear elevation. Inside, the barn has five bays and aisles, with passing shores supporting the arcade posts and a renewed clasped purlin roof.
