Description

Sycamore House is a house from the early 19th century, with an extension added in the mid-19th century. It is built of red brick and has a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a parapet above a hipped roof, with chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor— the central one being narrower— and two on the ground floor, all having painted heads. The entrance is a central half-glazed and panelled door set in a double rebated surround. To the right, there is a recessed two-storey wing that includes one wooden casement window on each floor and a two-storey canted bay window. The house is included for its group value with Street House.
