Description

Pleasant Cottage is a mid-19th century building located at No. 55 Nelson Place in Broadstairs. It is two storeys high and faced with flint, topped by a hipped tiled roof. The front features two sash windows with verticals only and louvred shutters, along with a three-light bay window. A modern porch with Gothic-style glazed windows spans the ground floor. On the left side elevation, there are two additional sash windows with verticals only and louvred shutters, as well as a wooden and glass verandah. Pleasant Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 11, 15, and 35 (odd) and No. 39.
