Description

Paragon Lodge, originally brewery workers’ cottages, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It has been subdivided into two properties. The front elevation faces Thanet Close. The building is two storeys high, with a basement and attics, and is constructed of flint with buff brick window dressings. It has a slate roof with dormers and two sash windows on each floor. The left-hand property features a sash window on the ground floor and a simple round-headed doorcase. The right-hand property has a blocked-in three-light bay doorcase and an entrance on its side elevation. Numbers 1 to 11 (odd) form a group.
