Description

Elmwood Cottage is a 18th-century building located on Reading Street in Broadstairs. It consists of two parallel ranges and is two storeys high, with a flint-faced exterior that has been painted on the front. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The front elevation features one sash window with intact glazing bars, a part string-course, and two cambered 19th-century casement windows. The entrance door is set within a wooden hipped weather porch located on the side elevation. Additionally, there is a sun fire plaque present on the building.
