Description

The Corner Cottage is an early 18th-century building located on Reading Street in Broadstairs. It is two storeys high and features a flint-faced exterior with a tiled roof. The cottage has two 19th-century casement windows. The end elevation includes a gable with kneelers and a stringcourse, along with two blocked window openings. The remainder of the structure is a 19th-century addition made of painted brick, which also stands two storeys tall and has two cambered sashes with verticals only, as well as a simple cambered doorcase. The Corner Cottage, along with Nos 11 to 15 (odd), forms a group. The listing also notes that "No 1 Aston Road" should be corrected to "No 1 Astor Road."
