Description

Acton Cottage is an 18th-century building located on the northeast side of Reading Street in Broadstairs. It is a two-storey structure faced with flint and features a mansard roof covered with old tiles. The building has red brick long and short quoins and window dressings. There is a doorcase located on the side, which is part of a 19th-century extension. Additionally, there is a two-storey 19th-century extension at the rear with a half-hipped gable. Acton Cottage has been amalgamated with No 11. Together, Nos 11 to 15 (odd) and The Corner Cottage form a group.
