Description

17 Market Place is a mid-19th century building located on the south side of Market Place. It is two storeys high and features a cement-rendered exterior. The building has a parapet and a dropped moulded eaves cornice. There are two sash windows set within moulded architraves. On the left side, there is a simple doorcase with a rectangular fanlight, along with a later shopfront. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 20 (consecutive) and No 1 Market Street.
