Description

15 Mercer Row is a large building dating from the mid-19th century, situated on a corner site. It is a three-storey structure with rendered walls. The building has a moulded cornice and parapet. There are six windows on each of the two visible elevations; one window is blocked and a further window is narrow and blocked to the left. The windows are hung sashes with glazing bars and have carved flat lintels. A band runs as cills to the windows. The central window facing Mercer Row has a moulded architrave and cornice. Similar windows are present on the first floor, with the exception of three on the main elevation, which have moulded surrounds. The centre window of these three has a cornice supported by consoles. A late 19th-century shop front is present. The entrance door is recessed within a plain doorway. The building is listed as part of a group with Nos. 13 to 23 (odd) on Mercer Row.
