Description

No. 16 Market Place is a late 18th century building that stands three storeys tall with attics. It is constructed of stock brick and features a roof that is partly covered with pantiles and partly with tiles, showcasing a mansard design with two dormer windows. The building has stone coping and four sash windows, all of which retain their glazing bars. The windows are adorned with stone heads and cills. There is a lampholder present, and the shopfront dates from the early 19th century. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 20 Market Place and No. 1 Market Street.
