Description
The building is a stable, which was once used as an oast, located 20 metres west of Heel Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The roof is half-hipped, and there are two half-doors on the left and one on the right. Inside, the left end bay features an oast house with a hop press above it, along with partial remains of a kiln at the rear. The roof structure includes clasped purlins.
