Description

This building is a forge located 5 yards east of Forge House, dating from around 1823. It is constructed of white brick with a slate roof and has one storey topped with a hipped roof that features a stack at the rear right. The front has a central multi-paned window, a cart-door on the left with a semi-circular fanlight above it, and a board door to the right, all set within a gauged semi-circular surround. At the time of the last survey, it was still a working forge.
