Description

A cottage pair, dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. The cottages are timber framed and have exposed framing with red brick infill. They sit on a brick plinth and have a plain tiled roof. The upper storey has an exposed panel frame with small timbers and wavy braces, and herringbone brick noggings. There are stacks at the end to the left and centre right. The windows are wooden casements, with three on each floor; the window to the left is in a 19th-century extension. A board door is located centre-left. The cottages were once the Parish Workhouse.
