Description

This is a 17th-century barn located 30 yards south of Little Pett Farmhouse in Bredgar. The barn is timber framed, sitting on a flint plinth, and is clad with weatherboarding. It features a hipped roof with a sloping mid-stray and a corrugated iron covering. Inside, the barn has five bays with aisles, passing shores to the arcade posts, cambered tie-beams, and a clasped purlin roof with wind bracing.
