Description

This is a 17th-century barn located 15 yards north of Nichol Farmhouse in Teynham. The barn is timber framed and covered with weatherboard, topped by a sheet asbestos roof. It features a hipped roof with two flat hooded projecting entry porches and a midstrey on the rear elevation. Inside, there are five bays with aisles, and some passing shores have partially survived. The roof is a 20th-century clasped purlin design. This barn is included for its group value.
