Description
Rhode Court is a manor house dated 1591, featuring a timber frame with exposed plaster infill. The rear walls have been rebuilt and extended using red brick, and the building has a plain tiled roof. It includes a 16th-century range with an 18th-century rear wing. The house stands two storeys high on a flint base and has a continuous jetty supported by dragon posts. The close-studded design includes a mid-rail, and the hipped roof has a large moulded freestanding stack cluster on the rear left, along with three stacks on the 18th-century rear wing. The windows consist of four light mullioned and transomed designs located in the center and to the right on each floor. The entrance features a central ribbed and studded door set in a moulded surround, accompanied by sidelights.
