Description
Norham House is a house dating from the 16th century, with extensions and cladding added in the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame that is exposed with plaster infill, and the right return is underbuilt and clad with painted brick. The roof is plain tiled. The building is designed as a hall house with a cross-wing, consisting of one storey and an attic, along with a two-storey cross-wing. The roof has a hipped design with a gablet, two hipped dormers, and a stack positioned to the centre right, while there is a half-hipped wing to the right. The windows are irregular wooden casements. A 20th-century rib and stud door is located to the right within a gabled porch. The right return features an 18th-century entrance front with a regular arrangement of three wooden casements on each floor.
