Description
Luton House is an early 18th-century house that was extended in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a slated roof. The building has two storeys and features a projecting cornice with modillions at the eaves. There is a shaped gable on the right side and a stack also on the right. The first floor has five glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has four, all with gauged heads. To the left, there is a door with six raised and fielded panels set in a panelled surround, topped by a semi-circular traceried fanlight and an open porch supported by fluted Doric columns. The house has been extended on the left with a two-storey, half-hipped wing from the 19th century, which has two large sash windows with segmental heads on each floor.
