Description
The White Lion Public House is a late 18th-century establishment constructed from red and blue chequered brick with a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high, with an attic and basement, set on a plinth. The building features a moulded brick dentillated eaves cornice beneath a half-hipped roof, which has stacks at the rear left and right, along with two hipped dormers. The first floor has a regular arrangement of three glazing bar sashes with box frames and blind hoods, alternating with smaller blank spaces that display Inn signs. On the ground floor, there are four glazing bar sashes and a central half-glazed door topped with a rectangular fanlight and a pediment-shaped hood. There is also a basement opening on the right side and a catslide outshot at the rear.
