Description
Church House is a house that dates from the 15th century and was clad in the 18th century. It features a timber frame and is clad with red brick, with some parts exposed on the left side and plaster infill. The roof is plain tiled and hipped. The building has two storeys and a hipped roof, with stacks that project at the right end and another that is projecting and offset at the left end. There are three wooden casement windows on each floor, with the ground floor windows having segmental heads. A half-glazed door is located to the centre left and has a hipped hood above it. At the rear, there is a hipped framed wing. Inside, the frame is exposed and includes dragon beams. The house may have originally been a Wealden hall house.
