Description

Grove Cottages is a house dating from the 16th century. It has a timber frame with exposed and plastered infill on the first floor, while the ground floor is plaster clad, topped with a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and features a continuous first floor jetty. The roof is hipped, with a free-standing offset stack on the right and an offset projecting end stack with a corbelled brick wall on the left. The windows are irregularly arranged, consisting of two 20th-century casement windows, and there is a 20th-century plank door located to the centre right.
