Description

These are a row of four cottages, dating from around 1700. They were likely originally a public house. The cottages are timber-framed and have been covered with painted brick, with a plain tile roof. The right-hand bay has been plastered and features a plat band. There are gables with coping, end stacks to the left and right, and a central ridge stack. The windows are regularly placed and comprise 18th-century and 20th-century sash windows, with gauged heads to the ground floor. There are four 20th-century half-glazed doors, each with a sloping roofed porch. A 20th-century garage extension of no particular architectural interest is attached to the left.
