Description

The buildings at 50-52 Tanners Street date from around 1770. They are a two-storey block of six windows, constructed from red brick with a corniced parapet. The windows retain their cambered head linings and original glazing bars. Each doorway is topped with a small, flat hood. These buildings were originally constructed for officials of the Royal Gunpowder Factory. They form a group with numbers 46 to 52 on the same street.
