Description

This is a former warehouse, dating from the 19th century. It comprises two parallel ranges. The building is four storeys high, with a brick projection extending across much of the ground floor, and a main entrance on the first floor. It is constructed of red brick with tiled gabled roofs. The third floor has seven openings, now closed with boarded shutters, each with a segmental relieving arch above. On the first and second floors, there is a segmental-headed window in the centre and one at each end. Each of the second bays from either end contain a pair of wooden boarded doors set within segmental arches; larger doors are present on the first floor. A wooden boarded door is located on the ground floor towards the east end, with steps leading up to the first floor. The former warehouse (G Twyman and Son Limited) and No 64 form a group with Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 6 to 9 (consec) Tanner Street.
