Description

The buildings at 33 and 35 Burton Street date to the late 18th or early 19th century. They have a painted brick facade, an eaves cornice, and an old slate roof. A decorative band runs between the first and second floors. The buildings are three storeys high, with three windows, and a blank window on the ground floor centre. The windows are casements and sashes, with some original glazing bars remaining. A cast iron balcony is positioned on large, curved brackets across the first floor of number 35. The ground floors have been converted to shops, which are of the 19th century. The listed buildings on Burton Street form a group of local interest, with numbers 24 to 36 (even).
