Description

The Boat Inn is a late 18th century building located on Burton Street. The facade has been rendered, and it features a slate roof with end chimneys. The structure is three storeys tall and has three windows, although the centre window on the top floor is blank and has ogee arches. The window frames have cambered head linings and modern glazing, while the ground floor has modern casement windows. There is a central door with a plain fanlight, and a name band runs across the facade above the ground floor windows. The listed buildings on Burton Street, including Nos 24 to 36 (even), form a group of local interest.
