Description
Toad Hall is a late 18th century building located on the east side of Burton Street. The facade is rendered white and features a slate roof that is hipped at the western end of No 59. The building has three storeys. No 59 includes one window and a ground floor canted bay. The western facade has two windows and an arched entrance at the north end. Toad Hall has three windows, with the centre being blank. The ground floor features two canted bays under a flat hood that extends over a central round arched door, which is adorned with a moulded archivolt and a radial fanlight. All the listed buildings on Burton Street, including Nos 24 to 36 (even), form a group of local interest.
