Warehouse About 15 Metres North West Of Provender Mill (Gilletts Limited)

This warehouse, located about 15 metres northwest of Provender Mill (Gilletts Ltd), dates from around 1840. It is timber framed and weather boarded, featuring large kerbstones and a roof made of corrugated asbestos sheeting. The building has two storeys, with a catslide lean-to extension on the roadside that includes a single boarded door. On the quayside, the warehouse has two full storeys, with a boarded door accessed by an external stair, two casement windows on the first floor, and three boarded doors on the ground floor. It is part of an important group of warehouses at the quay, although it may be slightly later than those located further east.
