Description

Standard Cottages are a pair of cottages located at Standard Quay. They feature 19th-century fronts but have rear walls that include masonry from the medieval Abbey of Faversham. The cottages are two storeys high, each with one window bay and one door. They have tiled roofs with gable ends facing the street and plain bargeboards. The fronts are rendered, and the windows are set in reveals with slightly segmental arches, retaining their glazing bars. Each cottage has a four-panelled door, also in a slightly segmental arch.
