Description
The barns located 50 yards south of Wormdale Farm House date from the 17th century and late 18th century. They are timber framed, standing on a brick plinth, and are clad with weatherboarding and a corrugated iron roof. The roofs are hipped, with one mid-stray and the other hipped. The two structures are arranged at right angles but are clad and roofed as a single unit. The interior of the 17th-century barn features four bays with aisles, passing shores to the arcade posts, and a clasped purlin roof with wind bracing. The interior of the 18th-century barn also has four bays and a single aisle.
