Description

The Carpenters Shop, Coopers Shop, and Old Cask Yard at Fremlins Brewery date from around 1890. They are constructed of brick in Flemish bond and feature three gables. The Carpenters Shop is covered in slate, while the other buildings are finished with asbestos sheeting. The Carpenters Shop has a cambered casement window, and its right side is weatherboarded over an open ground floor. The Coopers Shop features cambered openings and has an open fireplace inside. The Old Cask Yard consists of five bays with a queen post variant roof and includes a cask bath from around 1948. The rear elevation facing Church Street has three gables and an octagonal tapering brick chimney.
