Description

Toyswood Cottage is a likely 15th century timber-framed cottage that stands two storeys high and features two windows. The cottage has a high-pitched tiled roof with a chimney at the right end. The first floor is tile-hung, while the ground floor is made of red brick with some blue headers. It has small modern casement windows and a French door. There is a modern lean-to extension on the right and a short extension at the rear. Inside, there are close-set beams and a rebuilt inglenook fireplace in the downstairs room.
