Description

Number 5 Walter's Green Cottages is an early 17th century timber-framed building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features two windows. It has a high-pitched roof that is tiled and half-hipped on the left side. The right gable end overhangs and is tile-hung, supported by carved wooden brackets. The visible framing is filled with plaster, and the windows have been replaced with modern casements. This cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 7 Walter's Green Cottages.
