Description
Franklow is a late 18th century, one-storey, double-span cottage located on the west side of Burlings Tune in Knockholt. The cottage features three windows and has a moderately low pitched, tiled roof. Its walls are made of flush flint rubble, with red brick alternating block quoins and window jambs. The sash windows have shallow segmental gauged brick arches and glazing bars. The entrance includes a four-panel door, with the two upper panels being glazed, set within a later wooden porch. Franklow, along with the nearby Buildings Cottage and the outhouse and wall to Burlings Cottage, forms a group.
