Description

Portlands Cottage is a 2-storey, 2-window building from the mid-19th century, constructed of flint rubble with alternating block red brick quoins and jambs, as well as lacing courses. The north and west sides are rendered. It features a double span roof with a moderately low pitch, covered in slate. The windows are recessed sash types with glazing bars, and basement windows are visible from the road front. Portlands Cottage is part of a group that includes the Oast house, drying shed with attached walls, and stable buildings.
